Saint Gaudens Double Eagle series: Commissioned by Theodore Roosevelt as part of his beautification of US coinage. The 1907 Ultra High Relief is one of the most coveted American coins ever struck - only ~20 known. The 1933 Double Eagle was struck but never officially released; a single legally-owned example sold for $18.9 million in 2021, the highest price ever paid for any coin.
