Barber Half series: Largest of the three Barber coins. Heavily worn in circulation - collectors find that high-grade examples are scarce relative to mintage figures because the coin saw heavy commercial use. Replaced by the Walking Liberty Half in 1916. Designed by Charles E. Barber. Struck 1892–1915.
