Lincoln Memorial series: The Lincoln Memorial reverse replaced the Wheat reverse in 1959 to mark Lincoln's 150th birth anniversary. The composition switched from 95% copper to copper-plated zinc in 1982 - the famous "small date / large date" varieties of 1982 mark the transition. Replaced by four bicentennial designs in 2009. Designed by Frank Gasparro (reverse), Victor David Brenner (obverse). Struck 1959–2008.
Use the grade ladder, pricing confidence, and melt floor together before making a buying decision.
